What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

It is generally recommended to arrive at the church approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the wedding ceremony. In this case a 2:15 PM arrival allows ample time to park, settle into your seat, and avoid the last-minute rush.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will have a semi-formal dress code, which means we encourage our guests to dress elegantly and stylishly, striking a balance between formal and casual.

Will there be transportation provided to and/or from the hotel(s)

Answer

Yes. A private shuttle service will run from The Hotel Indigo to the venue starting at 6:20 PM and continue through the end of the reception, with return trips to the hotel afterwards.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Parking is available free of charge at the blocked hotel, and ceremony. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the reception venue.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding mass will take place indoors at Sacred Heart Parish Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Mattituck. The cocktail hour will take place on a fully covered patio adjacent to the indoor reception ballroom That being said, the venue has beautiful gardens, lawn games, and vineyards if you wish to explore these options too.

I have a food allergy and or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Both the mail-in and online RSVP options include a space for you to provide this information. Our cocktail hour and seated banquet dinner will offer various options, including dishes from the land, the sea, and vegetarian choices.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Of course. That being said, we are just happy for you to take part of our special day. We have hired photographers and videographers as well as a photo booth to capture these special moments, so you can enjoy as well.
