Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

we have set up a room block at Kalahari resort in the Poconos and would love for you to join us there.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

please RSVP by July 1st 2021, so we can properly prepare for the event. this also includes the hotel block if you plan on staying with us at Kalahari resorts.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You can arrive as early as 1:30pm and the ceremony will begin at 2:00pm

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course you can bring your kids. There will be lots of fun things for them to do. We tried to include them in the RSVP. so when you RSVP there should be a place there for them. Please let us know if we forgot anyone.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget.  Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our venue is providing dinner. Please let us know if you have a food allergy. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Come dressed nicely for the ceremony. Whatever you are comfortable in. There will be cabins provided to change your clothes in for swimming and other fun outdoor activities.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking at the camp and parking is free, check out the map for more information.

We are registered though Zola on our website.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible.

even though it will be at a camp we have made sure it's wheelchair accessible and staff will be available to assist if needed.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food

Answer

We will be having a bbq dinner so there will be pulled pork and chicken along with some sides. We will provide some alcohol at the reception along with other drinks but it's BYOB. So if there's a specific drink you like, your more than welcome to bring it along with you.

What will the weather be like

Answer

It should be nice out but if it rains we will have a backup location. Nights can get a little chilly so come prepared.

Should I bring anything else with me?

Answer

Yes if you plan on participating in certain activities, you will need to bring some things with you. If you want to play tennis bring your racquet with you. If you plan on going boating or swimming bring a swimsuit and a towel.

Can I go fishing on the lake at camp Canadensis?

Answer

The camp is a catch and release lake so feel free to bring your fishing poles and see what you can catch.

Is there electricity at the camp?

Answer

Yes there will also be plug ins at the camp if you need them for charging phones or plugging in hair dryers.

we are currently just working on general planning of the wedding. As the days get closer and if covid is still an issue we may make changes to the event. If this occurs all changes made will be posted on this website so check back occasionally to see if anything has changed. Your safety is our top priority.
