Will I have issues driving on the Naval Academy?

Answer

Short answer, no! Active duty service members, parents of Midshipmen, sponsor parents you; know the drill. Upon arriving at the gate 1 or 8, please be prepared to: · Identify themselves as guests of the Duffy/Altonen Wedding to the Sentry · Show proper identification, and inform ALL passengers 18 years and older in the vehicle to be prepared to show proper identification also (Driver's license, passport, etc.) · Have a vehicle inspection conducted at the entry control point before granting access · Follow the Sentry instructions at all times Thank you, and please get in touch with us with any additional questions or concerns!

What is the dress code?

Answer

For every event, the dress code will be dressy-casual! However, if you would like to, please feel free to change before the reception. It will be at a barn/in a large grass yard, so wear those sandals, tennis shoes, shorts, etc. Whatever makes you the most comfortable! Note - we are asking that service members please do NOT wear their uniforms!

Will children be invited to the wedding?

Answer

We want our special day to be relaxing for all our guests, therefore we have chosen to extend invitations to only those children over the age of 13. We hope you can understand and can find appropriate accommodations given advanced notice.
