Chris and I met each other in high school! We had a couple classes together & grew closer through passing notes, listening to mac miller, & him making fun of my rain boots every rainy day 🤪 We became really good friends but after graduating, life & relationships caused us to not keep in touch. I moved to Florida & Chris was in college, but when I came home my best friend Fioralda said “Chris keeps asking about you, you should message him” and that’s where it all began. After texting him he came right over to see me. Then came back again & again & again 🥰😂 We’ve always had a connection; such an open and honest friendship & we picked up right where we left off. We were and are truly best friends. I never imagined we would reunite & now be getting married!! Fast forward to June 6th, 2021; We were in Costa Rica for vacation & Chris wanted to go watch the sunset (which was not out of the ordinary we always do on vacation) I took forever to get ready & Chris was rushing me (also not unusual 😂) We finally made it to the beach. It was dark already & I did not want to go on the sand with heels on. Chris said “Well I’m going anyway.” Luckily, I followed him. I started recording & as soon as i stopped Chris got down his knee & my heart dropped. I was so excited I threw my drink down! He proposed & I screamed/cried YES!! Then we laughed because it was too dark to see the ring 😂 We went to the bar to call family & celebrated! It was perfect 🥰 We truly can’t wait to travel the world, start a family, & dance our way through life together ♥️
