Red Rocks offers various activities from Yoga on the Rocks to concerts most nights. It is also a public and free park that you can walk around. The main trail is an easy hike, but does have uneven paths/stairs/etc. You can also drive to the top of the amphitheatre without having to hike at all! We highly recommend checking Red Rocks out!
There are so many great breweries around Denver! A few of our favorites are Denver Beer Co, Ratio Beerworks, Great Divide Brewing Co, 10 Barrel Brewing Co, Our Mutual Friend Brewing, Odell Brewing Co
The night we got engaged we went to our favorite bar, Hudson Hill. This was also our spot when we first started dating! They have a sister bar closer to the wedding hotel, called The Wild, that has a very similar menu and vibe. They are both lovely and Hudson Hill holds a special place in our hearts.
Great place to grab a drink or enjoy a patio! There are some nice restaurants here as well!
This is close to the wedding hotel with great options for food, drinks, and shops! Polka Lola and Blanchard Family Wines are favorites of ours.
The wedding hotel is right by the stadium and its usually pretty affordable to get tickets!
We have lived within walking distance of Cheesman for our entirety in Denver so we may be biased, but we think this is the best park in Denver if you are looking for a relaxing outdoor moment :) The Denver Botanical Gardens are also part of this area and are a lovely experience! Cooper Door Coffee shop is a great option for coffee in the area as well!
Looking to pop around to a couple breweries, shops, and grab some food? RiNo is perfect for a day out and about. Los Chingones has some of the best margs around and the food is great too!
Golden and Boulder are both nestled right along the front range with great areas to walk in town or hike into the foothills and flatirons. If you don't know what the flatirons are, give it a google because they are gorgeous!!
Denver is a short (or long drive depending on where you want to go) drive to the mountains with beautiful scenery and great hikes of varying intensity. Or you can sit and enjoy a drink on a beautiful patio. There are so many options so if you have an idea of what you want to do, let us know and we can guide you to where we recommend! Some top areas are: Idaho Springs, Rocky Mountain National Park, Breckenridge, Vail, Evergreen, Estes Park. Steamboat and Aspen are amazing as well but are too far to do a day trip. Note: the higher in elevation the chillier it gets, especially in the spring, so be sure to bring a jacket.
