Breena and CJ met in July of 2020. Breena had lost her retail job during the covid lockdown and had decided to apply to work in a care home right behind her neighborhood at the time. Initially CJ and Breena never worked the same shifts and only saw each other in passing at shift meetings, but unbeknownst to them, they had both been scouting the other out from afar.
November 1st Breena and CJ had their first date! CJ picked Bree up and they had dinner at the observatory, got boba and drove through Mt. Tabor park sharing music they liked with each other. Breena rapped a song for CJ and CJ got out of his car to show of his dance moves (and maybe fart too).
Just weeks after Breena's 21st birthday, CJ wanted to go to the beach as a birthday treat. Together we drove to Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City. When we got there the beach was crowded with people, one couple was even getting their engagement pictures done (lol) we spent time walking the shoreline, digging holes in the sand like children and taking pictures together with CJ's handy dandy tripod. CJ suggested that better pictures could be taken at the top of a large sand dune and so the hike began. Once we reached the top we hopped a fence near a cliff for some "pictures". It was then that CJ asked Breena to marry him! The kicker to the whole story is that I (Breena) actually knew it was coming whole time because at the beginning of the drive I had seen the ring box in CJ's pocket! Still the proposal itself was just as sweet!
