Question

Parking

Answer

PLEASE CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE. Staying the night: If you plan to enjoy our bonfire/afterparty and will be camping in the orchard with the newlyweds, you will be parking in the back field at the venue. In order to fit all the partiers in, cars will be double parked. Please understand that you'll need to be patient the next morning while we dig everyone's ride out. You can arrive at the venue (look for the zebra mailbox!) and follow the signs to the parking area. Not staying the night: If you plan to leave after dinner you will be parking about a quarter mile away in the parking lot of the Sauvie Island Community Church. You can arrive at this parking lot (18510 NW Reeder Rd, Portland, OR 97231). We will have a shuttle to bring you to the venue and return you to your car when you're ready to head out. Please note, cars cannot be left in this lot overnight.

Question

Camping

Answer

We would love to welcome anyone who wants to tent camp on site with us. Please bring your own gear (most of you don't need instructions on this, but if you're not sure what you need just ask!) BE SURE TO BRING A CAMPING CHAIR TO USE AROUND THE FIRE. You are welcome to join us in changing into camping-appropriate clothes. In the morning we'll have coffee and breakfast snacks for those interested.

Question

Gifts

Answer

The love, support and friendship given by each and every one of you is the best gift we could ever receive. In lieu of traditional wedding presents we're simply asking for your enthusiasm, good vibes and a contribution to our potluck dinner.

Question

Food

Answer

We know potlucks are a non-traditional option for a wedding dinner, but your participation will help us achieve the low-key and budget friendly event we're aiming for :) We appreciate you! Question

Kids

Answer

Your kids are welcome but please keep in mind that the property is not child-friendly so children will need close supervision. The afterparty/bonfire portion of the event will not be a good place for kiddos.

Question

COVID-19

Answer

Our event will be held outside (with a large event tent). We are not aware of any invitees that are not fully vaccinated. If you don't have your shots we politely ask that you decline our invitation.
