Maid of Honor
Rachel has been my best friend for most of my life. We became friends in third grade because we were the tallest girls in the whole class and therefore, always placed next to each other. And luckily for both of us, Rachel got stuck with me! We have spent most of our life together and she gave me the sweetest Goddaughter. She shares my love of Dole Whip floats and Mimosas any time of day or night. I will always secretly giggle at the way Rachel and Chris make fun of me- hey, at least they bonded!
Bridesmaid
Evin mABELine is our beauty queen. Her hair and makeup is always flawless, hence her nickname “mABELine”. We met while working at Disney World in 2012. We played in the parks everyday, stayed up late watching The Bachelor, eating so much ice cream and she taught me how to dress cute and pose in candid pictures. She’s the best and so is her dog.
Bridesmaid
Shannon is my soul sister, even if she does hate the actual song. We’ve been friends since middle school and realized quickly we were way too much alike. I realized our friendship was forever the night we got kicked out of a high school basketball game. She is a real life super hero and stunning in every single way. I adore her and our friendship and thank God everyday He made us best friends.
Bridesmaid
Misty Misty Misty. I didn’t like her when I met her. Her RBF was on point. She was also way too stylish for me. I also didn’t understand how funny she truly was. Then along came a Chicago flight and she poured herself a Coke on the beverage cart and we instantly became friends… And then roommates for almost four years. She figured out how to bribe me into a mall with popcorn and soft pretzels, figured out I needed to watch Say Yes to the Dress at least 10 times per week and margaritas were my weakness. She keeps me looking young and cool and I’ll be forever thankful for her.
Bridesmaid
Sam became my sister years ago- seems like forever ago- when she married my brother. We have laughed, we have cried and I finally had someone to help me invent new ways to make fun of my brother with. I introduced her to designer purses, shoes and clothes and she introduced me to spas, facials and pedicures. She is a gorgeous Mama to two amazing and beautiful baby girls. Super excited for her to return the favor and help me go to the bathroom on our wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Gabby and I met when our brothers played baseball together. I don’t know how old we were, but we were definitely playing with Barbies and making bead bracelets. Unfortunately, our bead keychain business failed miserably before we even got it off the ground. Our families took all vacations together and our late nights watching movies in her parents van somewhere near the Carolinas will always be my favorite memories. We grew up dancing, learning about love and life and there are very few memories without her. I am so blessed she is still such a huge part of my life. Here’s to continuing the family vacations together!
Father of the Bride
This Father of the Bride is so special. It’s a title he’s so proud of and he’s waited for. While he cracks some good Dad jokes to Chris about “she’s yours now!”, we all know he will cry as much as Beth on the big day. Beth has always been a Daddy’s Girl and she is so honored to hold his arm making that long walk to her husband. I don’t know who was more excited to find Chris- Beth or Dougie- but Doug is definitely happy to have a son-in-law to argue football and fishing with.
Mother of the Bride
Mama- we did it! We planned a WHOLE wedding! Finally! We have dreamed about this day since I was 3, but beyond dreaming about the day, we prayed for the right man to come along. We talked about the pretty things, but she taught me what to look for in my future husband. And I have found all that and more. She was my first best friend- always loyal, always listening and always loving. And now that somehow Chris has taken my place as her favorite, I am completely okay with that. She’s our warrior and little fighter and we can’t wait to celebrate with her on the dance floor!
Mother of the Groom
Momma Drummond has a heart of gold. She raised two boys who grew up to be good men. Momma- you always had me to football, basketball and baseball practices on time and you never missed a game. You had dinner on the table and set the foundation for how I want to raise my own family. When I met Beth, I knew you would love her right away. She’s kind like you, ambitious like you and loves all of me like you do- flaws and all! She’s everything (and more) we both wanted me to find. Thank you for always being my biggest supporter and first example of an incredible woman.
Father of the Groom
The Patriarch of the Drummond family is strong and tough and made sure their family home was always filled with love and understanding. Raising two boys was no easy challenge. They were fearless, tested the boundaries and gave a lot of sleepless nights. He led by example in teaching me how to treat a woman and someday, how to treat my wife. Seeing the relationship Beth and my Dad have is all I need to know I’ve made him proud. He’s always more excited to see her, but I would have it no other way. Thank you for teaching me how to be a good man, a good husband and someday the best father.
Best Man
Nick is my big brother- 8 years older to be exact. He was well into living his independent, only child life when I came along. But that didn’t stop him from being my hero or role model almost immediately. We have fought like brothers, broken bones like brothers and looked after each other like brothers. I’ve watched him become a husband and father and always knew he would be the best dad because he was always the best big brother. I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing by my side the day I marry Beth.
Groomsman
Nealllll! Or as we call him- Hammer. He’s a REAL DAWGS fan.. just ask him. He’s the friend who’s always down for wings and beer and would be there in a “pinch” if you needed him to be. Need someone to go to the Georgia game or just want to golf 18? Call Neal. If you’re lucky, you’ll experience the full Hammer at the wedding.
Groomsman
Kev! We’ve had a lifetime of memories and shenanigans. I’m glad our wives are friends and plan all our parties so we don’t have to. Kevin also looks like Jimbo- if you know, you know! He hates hiking, loves camping. He is always in control of the music, always has his speaker but can’t ever let a song play through. His playlists are the best, though, so we let him get away with it.
Groomsman
If Rob isn’t jumping out of a plane, he’s laying on a beach somewhere. He may have moved to South Carolina, but he always finds time to drive back to Athens on Saturdays. He’s chill and makes friends with total strangers everywhere he goes. If I had to pick anyone to live off the land with, it’d be him.
Groomsman
Rob never turns down a good time and always brings the energy. Want to know the latest songs, the next up and coming artist, or the latest viral videos? Look no further than to our man Rob. Rob has taken me to some of the sketchiest music studios in Atlanta but I loved every minute of it… mainly because we made it out alive. Sketchy tattoo parlors are fun also. If you look closely during the reception, he just might be carrying around a bottle of whiskey in his back pocket!!!
Groomsman
I remember the day Eric was born- I was finally a big sister and I had someone to boss around. I hoped he’d look up to me, I hoped he would share his cool boy toys and I hoped we would always be close. We fought like brothers and sisters do and he was a drill sergeant when I did finally ask for his help, but he always helped me practice my softball swing and threatened to beat up boys who broke my heart. He is the little brother you look up to. I’m so glad he and Chris have become such good friends! Here’s to many more football Sundays, Christmas mornings and maybe eventually we will all go camping… a tent, not a Glamper.
Flower Girl
Everly made Beth an Aunt for the very first time. She had Beth wrapped around those fingers before she was even born. She is the sassiest, most giggly entertainer. That baby is going places! She is also an amazing big sister to Paisley and will inevitably teach her all of her diva-like ways.
Flower Girl
Reny Lou is the definition of i-n-d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t. Like her Mama, she has a mind of her own, she is strong willed and loves to make people laugh. She is a true Disney Princess at heart and we can’t wait for more adventures with her.
Flower Girl
Our sweet and sassy princess! Lover of fruit snacks, Elsa and weekends with Mimi and Papa. Even though she is the baby sister to her two big brothers, she runs the show! Maclaren may be tiny but she is fierce! Being her Aunt and Uncle is sooo much fun!!
Ring Bearer
The favorite part of our day is hearing what the latest funny thing Cohen did or said- Beth calls them “Cohenisms”! He is the little rockstar, funny man, daredevil and artist in the family. He looks up to his big brother and looks after his baby sister and still finds time to make his own way in the world. We know Cohen will steal the show and we are okay with that!
Ring Bearer
Lachlan is the coolest big brother! He is a Lego master, Star Wars Lover and we heard he’s pretty good at playing with his Nerf guns with his brother. He has the sweetest smile and a sparkle in his eye you will never forget! You should see how high he jumps on the trampoline and swims to the bottom of the pool!
