You can either fly into Aguadilla Airport known as: Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) which would be the closer one or San Juan Airport known as: Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU).

How do I get around?

Answer

Renting a car would be the easiest option. Most major airports carry rental cars. There is also public transit such as buses or calling a cab company. If using a cab or buses cash will be need.

Do I need a passport or exchange currency?

No, Puerto Rico is a U.S territory so no passport is needed they also use the same currency (US dollars).

Since Puerto Rico is an island it is mostly hot and humid all year around. Occasionally it rains.
