Chris and Agatha met through the innovation of modern technology right as we were coming out of the initial pandemic shutdown in May 2020. (It was a dating app :).) Right away it became clear they had a good amount of things in common. Aside from the superficial; they worked in healthcare, knew similar people, and lived in similar parts of town over the years, there was something deeper. Those initial conversations showed a mutual appreciation for education, family, true partnership, witty banter (Agatha is an expert), good food, a better cocktail, music, keeping in shape, and a sharp sense of humor. Chris knew these were the traits he was looking for and eagerly asked for a first date. Agatha didn't say no. So Chris picked Agatha up and instantly was stunned by her beauty. Not one who gets lost in his words he became nervous and Agatha was slightly shy. It was off to River and Post. Agatha suggested the rooftop after Chris had made reservations and Chris later found out it was a tactical decision in case a quick escape was necessary after 1 drink. Well Chris passed the 1 drink test and they had a couple of more after which they had a fun time shooting pool. On the way home Chris told Agatha he wanted a second date and an opportunity to see what the future had in store for them. Once again she didn't say no. 4 vacations, 2 holidays, many meals, 2 birthdays and countless of laughs later Chris decided to do something he didn't know he would ever do and buy a ring. After months of planning and having his family show up for the surprise; once again Agatha did not say no. Thank you for celebrating us getting Eloped! P.S The picture at the bottom is the location of our first date!
