FAQs

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Doors open at 3:30 pm with guests being seated beginning at 4:00pm. The Ceremony will start at 4:30 pm, followed by a Cocktail hour at 5:00 pm, and the Reception at 6:00 pm. We ask that you arrive and be in your seat no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier than 15 minutes before and it will give you time to park, sign the guest book, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter. Thank you for understanding!

Question

How long will the reception last? What will it look like?

Answer

Our reception will last from 6:00pm-10:30pm. We will have more modest music from 6:00pm-8:00pm for everyone to dance to and enjoy. From 8:00pm-10:30pm, the music will transition to more of a party, including some more vulgar music. Everyone is welcome to attend for the entire reception, however we do understand that some may be more comfortable leaving early. An announcement will be made before the transition to ensure that those that would like to leave early have the time to do so.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

We are doing our best to keep our wedding more intimate, so plus ones are limited. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults only event with the exception of a few that will be a part of our ceremony. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends to get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies can wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen can wear slacks and button down shirts or dress up in a more formal suit. Please no jeans, sneakers, and of course no wearing white.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a limited open bar available beginning at cocktail hour and throughout the reception. We ask you to be patient and respect our bartenders!

Question

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

While we completely understand the excitement surrounding our wedding, we ask that all phones stay put away during our ceremony. Our photographer will be working very hard to take beautiful pictures during the ceremony and we would be happy to share with anyone who asks! Announcements will be made prior to ceremony as a reminder. We encourage you to enjoy our ceremony in the moment and take plenty of pictures during cocktail hour and the reception. We hope you can respect our wishes to have an unplugged ceremony.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and venue with an exact guest count by a certain date. While we will send out reminders, as well as send out invitations early, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, so we ask that you dress accordingly. In the event of inclement weather, we will move the ceremony indoors. Our reception will take place indoors for the remainder of the evening.

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

Alcohol is on us! We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premises. We appreciate the understanding and for following our venue's rules.

Question

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. We will have an RSVP date for you shortly.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a limited hotel block for guests that are looking to stay nearby. If all hotel block rooms are full, feel free to still book these hotels for the same hotel block rate. Please see the travel tab for more information.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We do not want anyone drinking and driving. This being said, all vehicles must leave the venue by 11:30pm on Friday as the gates will lock at this time. We will provide a shuttle between the hotel and wedding venue after the reception has ended. We will have approximate shuttle times coming soon. Feel free to use this option or carpool if you are planning to drink.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking available at the venue. We ask that those that can carpool do so to save parking room. You can also feel free to use the shuttle provided to and from the wedding venue from the hotel. All cars must be gone by 11:30pm or they will not be able to be accessed without contacting the venue.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be an option to let us know about any allergies or special requests with your invitation. We will do our best to accommodate any allergies and have options that will work best for everyone.
