Family & Friends, our venue has changed to Hyatt House 1268 Broad St. Augusta, GA 30901. Complimentary parking in the parking deck, with the Wedding / Reception taking place on 8th floor.

Dear Friends and Family, We wanted to check in given the changing travel climate due to the coronavirus outbreak. At this time, our wedding is going forward as planned and we’re excited to spend time with all of you. If you are unable or feel uncomfortable traveling or attending, we understand. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal / cocktail attire.

Where is the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The wedding and reception will take place at Hyatt House Augusta / Downtown, 1268 Broad St. Augusta, GA 30901.

The wedding will begin promptly at 5:00 pm, with the reception soon to follow. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm.

Both the wedding and reception will be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can enjoy the reception area where cocktails will be served.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be truly missed! If you are no longer able or feel uncomfortable traveling or attending, we understand. Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can update our relevant vendors.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 45 mins to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled.

Can I bring an uninvited guest?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget, and accommodate the invited guests. Our wedding is RSVP only, due to the venue being on a military base. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If a nameless plus one is listed on your invitation, please provide their name in order for them to be added to the guest list.

Yes, the venue has wheelchair accessibility.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Hyatt House Augusta / Downtown (Same location as the Diggs2Hill Wedding / Reception). When booking, Enter Group Code 85917 in the Special Rates tab. Reservations must be received by September 11, 2020 to receive group rate.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes. If have any food allergies, please let us know in advance to prevent any health emergencies.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding and reception on social media?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is completely unplugged, we promise to share with you the pictures and video of the wedding as they are made available. Please enjoy the moment with us and turn your cellphones off during the ceremony. However, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media of the reception, our only request is that you tag each photo/video with our wedding hashtag #Diggs2Hill so we can keep track of all of your pictures.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is September 1, 2020. We will need advanced notice for the vendors to plan accordingly. Please RSVP online, we hope it will be simpler for you.

Are there safety measures in place?

Answer

YES! Your health and safety are our top priority! Face coverings are required unless you're eating or drinking. To avoid cross contamination, the food will be served and collected by assigned staff. There will be hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue, and plenty of space for social distancing. We're looking forward to celebrating this special day with you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

You know that we love kids, but we want our ceremony and reception to be your night off! Our ceremony consists of 4 children, but they will leave as soon as the ceremony is over. Our reception will be Adults Only! Thank you for understanding.
