Do I need to be vaccinated to travel to Costa Rica?

Answer

No, Costa Rica requires non-vaccinated tourists to purchase local health insurance that covers COVID-19. There is the other requirements on the Travel page. Every Tourist needs to fill out Heath Pass 48 hours prior to travel.

When do I need to do a COVID test?

Answer

Everyone regardless of vaccination status needs to get COVID test within 24 hours of traveling back to United States. No test is required to get into Costa Rica (if you were exposed to COVID or have had symptoms please travel smart).
