The dress code for our wedding is Formal, or Black-Tie Optional. Ladies, think floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. For the gentlemen, a tuxedo isn't required, but you won't be out of place in one.
Maryland in early March will still be a bit chilly. Be sure to pack a jacket or light coat, and an umbrella just in case!
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Double Tree by Hilton in Columbia for this event. Check out the Travel page for the link to reserve your room. However, please be sure to book by 1 February 2023 in order to guarantee your room(s).
The ceremony and reception will be in the same building, at Kahler Hall. The Double Tree by Hilton in Columbia is less than 5 miles away and plenty of parking is available at both locations.
Both events will be indoors.

We recommend that you arrive about 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the lobby area of the building where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. Time to get ready for the celebration!
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
A buffet brunch will be served during the reception, and don't worry about bringing your wallet as the bar will be open.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #TakeTheMaloneyAndRun so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
