Some love stories begin with an instant spark, while others unfold over time. Ours was the latter—God’s perfect timing and a little humor.

We first met in 2019 at a close friend’s birthday dinner. Introduced through mutual friends, we were in different phases of life, and our meeting was a passing moment. Two years later, everything changed.

After Camryn graduated from Tuskegee University and moved to Huntsville, AL, she hosted a party at her home, setting the stage for us to reconnect. Weeks later, Chris posted a video of himself falling through a chair on Instagram, and Camryn couldn’t resist sending laughing emojis. That simple message sparked a conversation that quickly turned into something deeper.

Soon after, Chris asked to meet up to discuss his career plans after graduating from Alabama A&M University. That Saturday at Cork & Crust, our conversation became effortless and familiar—something like home. 

Now, hand in hand, we’re ready for forever and the journey ahead.
