Willie and Christine met December 2016 in Washington State. Willie was getting his Masters in Education at University of Washington and Christine was working in supply chain at Starbucks. While the timing wasn’t right, Willie stayed in contact with Christine occasionally. Willie and Christine reconnected in 2018 and again, timing wasn’t quite right. Fast forward to May 2023 and Willie reached out again and Christine was a little curious about what he had to say. Quite quickly they realized that they wanted to try dating and things moved quickly from there. Willie came to visit Christine the end of May 2023 in Michigan. He met her closest girlfriends and wasn’t scared off. Christine was THRILLED. Willie even offered to meet Christine’s mom, Nancy. While Christine was shocked, she ran with it since her mom’s approval was important to her. The most important part of this weekend was Christine learning that Willie is exactly what she wanted long term so they quickly locked it down the following weekend- they became official! Willie and Christine have had many adventures together and the love continued to grow. Willie got down on one knee after a romantic meal celebrating Christine’s birthday. February 1, 2025 they were engaged! Willie planned an engagement party with the support of friends and family immediately following the proposal. Christine eventually stopped shaking from the shock and excitement from the engagement and now she can’t stop dreaming about the day she becomes Mrs. Bradley.
