It was the magical internet powers of Tinder that brought us together. We swiped, we matched, and the rest is history!
Christine and Spencer’s first date began in true Minneapolis fashion — a walk around the iconic Minnehaha Falls, followed by beers at a local micro brewery, Harriet Brewing. Their afternoon date quickly turned into more when Spencer took a chance by asking Christine if she’d want to stick around and attend a friend’s concert with him later that evening. Without skipping a beat, Christine accepted the invitation, as long as they could share dinner together beforehand. ;) An unplanned 10 hours later, Spencer drove Christine home from their afternoon hike, brewery date, dinner, and concert, both laughing about how their faces hurt from smiling so much!
Given how much Christine and Spencer enjoy the outdoors, it was fitting that they got engaged in the beautiful Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Tucked away for a weekend on the secluded Gull Lake, Spencer and Christine enjoyed the scenery, the fishing, and their time together. On the evening of June 30th, they made a delicious homemade pizza over a campfire. Taking their dinner to an overlook, Christine and Spencer enjoyed their meal while watching a beautiful sunset over the lake. As the sun dropped, Spencer also dropped to his knee and asked Christine to spend the rest of their lives together.
