Socially distant outdoor ceremony and reception?
Answer
Both venues will be observing social distancing guidelines. Our ceremony will take place in the Church courtyard, rather than inside as previously stated. The reception also is completely outside on a covered patio. Face coverings are required to enter the ceremony and reception venue. No-touch temperatures will be taken upon entering the reception.

Parking at church?
Answer
Yes, there's a lot adjacent to the church with free and ample parking. You can even keep your car in the church lot & uber or lyft to and fro Amplifiedf for convenience, as parking for the reception may be impacted by beach visitors.

Is the resturaunt hosting the receptions following CDC & state guidelines?
Answer
Yes. As part of the guidelines there will not be a "buffet" style reception. Staff will serve food to our guests.

Where can I park for the reception?
Answer
The restaurant will validated free at least 2-hour parking in its underground garage. If you don't want to deal with validation, you can keep you car at the Church lot during the reception and uber or lyft from the ceremony to the reception. Cars left overnight in the Church lot will get towed, so just be sure to get your car by the end of the night.

Can I wear a mask with my attire?

Yes, we encourage masks. We want everyone to be and feel safe.

Getting married in age of COVID?
Answer
Like most things, planning a wedding in a pandemic is a learning experience. We originally planned for a larger wedding and had intended to have more guests at our event. However, all signs & public health guidelines point to smaller, outdoor events for safety. We’re eager to get married and don’t want to postpone. And, we’re very happy with our venues and that all our events will take place outside. Amplified Ale Works management and staff are well-versed in serving customers under the new public health guidelines. Our reception will take place on the outdoor patio. There’s an outdoor sink on the patio for hand washing & partial ocean views. We completely understand that some will not be able to make it to our event. For those unable to attend, we hope to, at the very least, record the ceremony. We know this has been a tough year—we hope celebrating this milestone virtually or in person with a mask brings you some of the same joy that it brings us.
