Please join in the celebration of our 1st Wedding Anniversary!

The greatest characteristic about a love story is that it does NOT have an ending, it continues to grow "As Time Goes By," a song by Dooley Wilson from Casablanca, which Grandma Callagy used to sing routinely. We both have dwelt on the concept of "time," through conversations over the years that we have known one another. We have discussed it's qualities with various friends and family members, however, 2020 has brought a whole new perspective on "time" to us. We refused to have COVID define us or prevent us from living our lives. Countless adjustments were made, decisions reached, things scratched due to the pandemic and restrictions but still we prevailed, love prevailed. Led by an amazing Family and Wedding Party front we were able to be married and experience our Wedding Shower, the Bachelor Party and Bachelorette Party but unfortunately we are still without the punctuation mark of our Wedding Reception. It is through our discussions of "time" that we have come to the conclusion it is not "time" yet to celebrate. In order to spend "time" with all of you at the reception we would need things to be different. We want each and every one of you to enjoy your "time" to the fullest and it is because of this fact that we have decided to CANCEL the Wedding Reception and instead throw an Anniversary Party next year on August 7th that will include some reception like qualities. Hopefully by then we may all celebrate our "time" together to the fullest possible manner. Love you all!

Our story began like any other story of love, with a friendship. Our bond began in an unlikely place for those that desire the outdoors, the confines of an office. With Christine's leap of faith leaving the place she worked for 13 years at a request from a friend and for Rónán canceling the adventure of a lifetime to hike the Appalachian Trail, our fates seemed to be forever entwined. 5 years ago, from the weekend of our wedding, we ventured into the woods together with friends for the first time  hiking both Bear Mountain and Anthony's Nose in the Hudson Highlands. From there our adventures have gone to Mt. Brandon, Ireland, Mt. Katahdin, Maine and The Adirondacks in upstate New York. Our mutual fondness of the wilderness has lead us to build our day around these adventures.
