I met Eric in the dorms my freshman year of college. His outgoing personality, hilarious energy, and love for Chris Farley made us instant friends. We later were college house roommates...and then adult roommates 15 years later! Just liked we planned it! In between I visited him while he lived in Los Angeles to pursue acting and countless times when he lived in Chicago. If there is a brewery in Chicago, we've been there. Eric and his wife now live near in Milwaukee. We still hangout often. Eric is always funny, kind, and helpful. I was thrilled to be a part of his wedding in 2019 and honored that he is my Best Man.
Melissa Heck

Melissa, who cannot make it to our Wedding, is the sister I never had and my longest/best friend. Melissa and I met in High School on the Gymnastics team and have remained great friends for the past 30 years (sounds ridiculous to say that). She’s been my solid rock through all of life’s craziness. We lived together for almost 2 years right out of college, and those were some of my very favorite years of my life. She’s a wonderful and kind friend that I am so grateful for. While she could not make it to our wedding, she has been there helping me, and I know she’ll always be there for me. Anyone who can keep an amazing garden, make delicious food, and buy shoes with you from the bar is someone you need in your life. I'm honored to have her by my side for life.
