Hinge lol

Nick and Christine rented a cabin in Amherst, MA for a romantic weekend away. They cooked their favorite meal, drank good wine, and watched lousy movies before settling in for bed. Despite a weather forecast that called for gray skies and rain, they decided to go on a hike the following day. The next morning, Nick was so nervous that he could barely speak, and after a quiet drive in which the skies opened up into a truly beautiful and sunny day, they started up the Robert Frost Trail. About halfway up the mountain, sick of the other hikers, the humidity, and the anxiety of the moment, Nick pulled Christine off to a secluded overlook, got on one knee and asked Christine to be his wife. She said "yes!" and immediately launched into her "proposal acceptance" speech since she had been forbidden from proposing herself (Nick is old-fashioned that way). They skipped the rest of the hike. After taking photos and calling their families, they visited the Emily Dickinson House, ordered a pizza to eat on the drive back to the cabin, and celebrated with more food, wine, and movies. The next morning, they stopped in to Christine's aunt and uncle's house for a celebratory brunch and ended up watching the Vikings defeat the Bills in an overtime thriller, 33-30. A truly perfect weekend all around.
