Great question--and our #1 asked question. The attire is "dressy casual"--in other words--this is NOT a black tie/cocktail event. It's gonna be hoooootttttt....GUYS: dress shirt/button down, slacks, and maybe a sports coat. GALS: summer dress (what you'd wear to church or a fancy dinner out, etc).
Columbia is a little over an hour from Nashville. We are recommending that if you are making a long weekend out of this, stay in Nashville Thurs/Fri night and Saturday maybe stay in Franklin (Christine's favorite) at the Harpeth or in a place down in Columbia. The town of Columbia is SUPER cute and "up and coming" so might be a nice place to grab a bit Sunday morning (IE Puckett's on the square).
