For those travelling from Australia

For our guests travelling from Australia, you will need to apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) to visit Honolulu. This is part of the Visa Waiver Program, which allows Australian passport holders to enter the United States for tourism or short stays without a traditional visa. The ESTA application is completed online and is generally quick and straightforward. We recommend applying at least a few weeks before your departure, although approvals are often granted within a few days. Once approved, your ESTA is typically valid for two years (or until your passport expires) and allows multiple entries, with each stay lasting up to 90 days.
