We met 12 years ago at a gym where I was working as a front desk receptionist and Kory was an avid gym-goer. It started with a simple check-in and a "have a great workout, Kory" and ended up with him falling in love with me and asking me out on a romantic date.

We were enjoying a nice weekend in Laguna Beach, and I remember Kory pacing back and forth in our hotel room. Finally, we decided to take a walk on the beach and he asked me to take a picture of him kissing my belly (Avery was in there at the time). As I was snapping away of him kneeling down and kissing my belly, that was when I saw the ring and realized he was proposing to me.
