St. Charles Street Car The St. Charles Streetcar Line is a historic streetcar line in New Orleans. It has been running since 1835 and is the oldest continuously operating streetcar line in the world. From landmark court cases to visits from international ambassadors, many important events in Louisiana have taken place within the Cabildo. French Market The French Market District is comprised of the shops of the Upper Pontalba, shops of the Colonnade, the Craft Bazaar, the Farmers & Flea Markets, Oscar Dunn Park, the Moon Walk, and Crescent Park Operations at the world-famous French Market includes our Flea Market featuring daily vendors open till 5pm and our Farmers Market with eateries and café style seating open till 6pm.
