Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be under large tent (with great rain plan if needed!). Be mindful of your shoes for the ceremony as it will be in a grassy area with the remainder of the party on brick/stone.

What time does the shuttle leave?

Answer

The shuttle will leave the Holiday Inn at 4:45 pm to head to the venue There will be return shuttles leaving the venue as 9:15 pm and 11:10 pm and return to the Holiday Inn

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if specified on your invite.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking at the venue. There is transportation provided to and from the hotel as well If you take the shuttle, there will be an early one leaving at 9:15 pm and one post-festivities around 11 pm. *There will not be a shuttle for the welcome party on 5/23, there is plenty of parking at Kardinal Hall*

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please let Christine or Ian know as soon as possible so we are able to accommodate to your request accordingly.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a reserved block at the Holiday Inn in Ruckersville (approximately 20 minutes from Charlottesville and 20 minutes from the venue). If you're interested in staying in Charlottesville there are plenty of nice Airbnbs and hotels available! Please note if you stay at another hotel you will need to provide your own transportation to The Market at Grelen or park at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites to take the shuttle.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Nope. 1) it'll be after Christine and Ian's normal bed time and 2) the venue location isn't close to any bars. There will likely be bars open late in Charlottesville if you still want to rage!
