Flight Tips
Many of you have already booked travel, but if not, here are a few tips.
Flights from LA usually involve one stop—Qatar Airways is a favorite for comfort, though it often means a 20+ hour trip with a layover in Doha. Some guests are breaking up the trip with stopovers in Paris, Vienna, or Milan. The couple is spending a few days in Vienna before heading to Yerevan.
Plan to arrive a few days early to adjust to the 11-hour time difference before the wedding. You'll fly into Zvartnots International Airport (EVN), about 15–30 minutes from Republic Square.
Getting to town:
– Private transfers (~$13) can be pre-booked online or via your hotel.
– Yandex and GG Taxi (local ride apps) work like Uber—download ahead.
– Most rides cost ~$5–6 and are paid in AMD. (We recommend using exchange booths for a little cash at the airport in case you need to tip.)
