What accommodations are available?

Please see the travel tab for tips and **hotel options with discount codes**. These are just recommendations, you are free to stay where you please. We will be staying at Hotel Baia in Cascais Wednesday, and Thursday night, and then at The Ritz at Penha Longa Friday and Saturday nights.

Are there any visa requirements for traveling?

ETIAS is not quite a visa, but it does require a small fee to complete for those between 18-70 years of age traveling to Portugal (and other EU countries). We will also do our best to communicate with everyone if this does become live before our travel and needs to be completed for the wedding.

What should I wear?

Suits, tuxedoes are welcome, gowns, formal dresses Black Tie Optional Formal attire for the wedding. **LADIES - be mindful of your footwear during the wedding as dinner and cocktail hour will be in a grassy outdoor space weather permitting.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Yes, children are welcome. Please let us know if you will be bringing your children, and we can help explain where they can stay during wedding if they will not be dancing/joining for the entire evening.

What cultural traditions should guests be aware of?

For the ceremony we will be seated. Therefore, bridesmaids and groomsmen will remain seated.

What is the weather like during the wedding?

Answer

Weather in Portugal in September is 70-80s during the day, dropping down to 60s at night. Weather permitting the reception will be held outside so plan accordingly.

Please RSVP that you will not be attending as soon as possible, and contact either of us as needed.
