I first met Henry in middle school, but it wasn't until high school that we came really good friends. We shared some courses together, including Pre-Calculus, and played tennis after school. We also both went to UC Irvine for undergrad, and lived together as roommates our third year. Those times, along with going through medical school together (albeit at different programs), has essentially solidified our friendship for life. He is an incredible friend and physician, and it is an honor to have him at my wedding as my best man.

I first met Kevin through Henry during our undergrad years at UC Irvine. If I was hanging out with Henry, Kevin was almost always there, and if Henry and Kevin were hanging out, I was almost always there too. The three of us spent a lot of time not going to class, but instead became close friends through exploring places to eat, playing basketball, and watching Entourage and Jeopardy. All these years later, we have kept in touch doing what we do best. He is one of the best friends I have, and I am lucky to have him in my wedding party.

Gavin is one of my best friends from medical school. My first impression of him was how passionate and hungry he was for knowledge and learning, both in and out of the medical field. His industriousness and focus was inspiring, and we immediately bonded over our many shared interests. Furthermore, we are both introverts so we were able to connect at that level. He is currently training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in New Orleans, and I look forward to being closer to him when I move to Houston next year. Needless to say, I am glad to have met Gavin during my time in Arizona, and I am proud to have him in my wedding as one of my groomsmen.

I also met John in medical school. One of my earlier friends, we often studied together and socialized with the same group of friends outside of school. Like me, he was very focused on learning medicine and working hard towards achieving his goals. I respected and admired that about him. Ultimately, we both decided to apply for radiology as our specialties, and became even better friends as we supported one another on our journey to match into the specialty. Excited to have him as part of my wedding party!

Like Henry, I have also known Lawrence for a long time. We became closer friends in high school as we started hanging out with the same group of friends. It wasn't long before we developed a lot of the same interests, most notably our love for modifying our cars. Lots of hours were spent in our parent's garages installing parts on my Acura, which in reality, was really just Lawrence helping me install the parts with me watching. Afterwards, we would race through Turnbull Canyon and hang out outside the local 7-11. Times were definitely simpler back then, but our friendship has remained through the years. And of course, we partnered up to start Waffles de Liege, which has been a huge part of both our lives since 2011!

Eric and I go all the way back to middle school. We started to become good friends when we shared the same science class in 8th grade. We goofed off a lot, but were pretty studious at the same time. As we moved onto the same high school, we were part of the same group and that was when we really started to hang out, often with Lawrence. The three of us would watch movies, work on Lawrence's and my car, and just drive around the suburbs and loiter in front of 7-11. We shared a lot of the same classes in high school as well, and often worked on the same group projects, including a video project for Childhood's End on the same day Robert Horry hit the game winning 3 against the Sacramento Queens. Despite going to different undergrads, we have remained in touch all these years!
