Is the ceremony and the reception at the same place?

Cocktail attire. Wearing fall colors is encouraged!

We kindly request that this be an adult-only wedding. We hope this advance notice allows you to enjoy a night off and celebrate with us

Where should we stay?

Answer

While Sojourn is a lakeside resort, room availability is limited and will be reserved for the bridal party and immediate family. Several hotels are located within a 10-minute drive in downtown Gaylord. There is more information on the Travel page.

Will there be a shuttle between the hotels in Gaylord and Sojourn?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be available for guests so everyone can enjoy the evening and get home safely. There is more info on that under the Travel section.

Is there parking at Sojourn if I am not taking a shuttle?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking onsite.

Is the ceremony outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. However, if there is inclement weather the ceremony will be held in the Great Hall where the reception is.

Where is the cocktail hour?

Answer

The cocktail hour will be held on the patio of the Great Hall just a stones throw from the ceremony site. The patio will be covered by a tent. If the weather is cool, there will be patio heaters to keep everyone warm.

Is there a cash bar?

Answer

Absolutely...NOT. We will have an open bar all day and all night! Prost!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We included a plus one on invitations as we felt appropriate. If you did not receive a plus one but would like to request one please reach out to Eric or Christine directly.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please do not take any photos during the ceremony. Having your phone turned off is encouraged. We have hired a wonderful photographer and videographer. We ask that they be the only ones trying to capture any images or video.

Will the dinner menu be considerate of food allergies?

Answer

Yes! Our menu has options that are gluten and dairy free. There are also options for vegetarians. If you have a food allergy and have concerns, please reach out to Eric and Christine directly.
