Flattop Mountain Trail

A great drive up to a great view. If you wish to hike to the flag at the top, you'll get a great hike and an even greater view! This is a couple hour activity.

Ship Creek, Alaska

A great place to do some fly fishing, without leaving town.

Rent a bike or go for a long walk along our cities coastal trail.

good food with local beer. In the summer with great weather you can sit roof top and enjoy the late sunshine!

The couple highly recommend ordering the chicken nachos (with extra pickled jalapenos - the brides suggestion)!

A great local place with a great variety of food and drink options.

Tommy's Burger Stop

Another one of the groom's favorite little, local burger place.

Middle Way Cafe

One of the couples favorite after church stop. But, it's great any day of the week! Breakfast hours have great options and lunch options are equally as good.

Alaska Native Heritage Center

For a few hours of your day, you can get a great lesson on the history of the native people of Alaska - how they live, hunt, travel, dance, sing, etc.

Girdwood

Take a day (or two) to visit this small ski town. Enjoy a good hike, ride the tram from the hotel to the top of the mountain, or ride the hand tram. When hungry, the couple suggests Double Musky, Chair 5, or Jack Sprats.

Whittier

The couple really enjoys take a day to visit this town for seeing the small fishing town that you can only access by going through a tunnel in a mountain.

Kenai

On your way you will pass by the Russian River, where camping, fishing and water rafting can be done! When you get to Kenai there is a great brewery, great fishing and great camping there as well.
