High Altitude Tips
Denver is the mile high city for a reason. It sits at 5,280 ft above sea level! The higher altitude can have some impacts on those not used to the elevation. Remember to stay hydrated and to not over-do it with activities! Here are some recommendations for adjusting to the mile high city! 1) Water is your best friend 2) Higher altitude = lower alcohol tolerance 3) The sun is stronger, don't forget your sunscreen 4) Chapstick and lotion are a must 5) Feed your body potassium 6) Physical exertion will affect your response to altitude
