Our love story began as 8 and 9-year-old kids building forts, and now, 12 years later, we are getting married! It all began when my grandparents lived in the same apartment complex as Gio's parents. With my siblings, I spent many afternoons under my wonderful grandmas care, while our parents worked, giving us the chance to get to know all the neighborhood kids. One unforgettable memory we share is the time we decided to build the ultimate fort using neglected items we found nearby. We scavenged old chairs and anything else we could find to create our masterpiece. Amidts our construction frenzy little 9 year old Gio generously shared his cheddar jalapeño chips with everyone including myself, a simple gesture that still makes us smile to this day. As life moved on, my grandparents eventually moved away, and Gio and I naturally drifted apart. We went our separate ways and were basically strangers passing by in our school hallways. As life would have it, Gio joined the military and moved to Texas, while I stayed in Nevada for school and work. Despite all that time apart, our hearts found their way back to each other. Now, here we are, thrilled to be preparing for our wedding day! We never imagined that our childhood adventures were just the beginning of our love story. We are grateful to God for bringing us together and for the deep love and companionship we’ve discovered in each other. Our relationship has blossomed, teaching us the true meaning of unconditional love, even through the challenges of long distances and deployments. We are beyond thrilled to be tying the knot this year and can’t wait to celebrate our love surrounded by cherished family and friends!
