It all began on May 8, 2018. Two strangers, introduced by a mutual friend, met for the first time. That night, something just clicked. We started our day at High Park, walking under the cherry blossoms in full bloom, surrounded by soft petals and spring air. Then we had dinner at a cozy Korean restaurant, sharing good food, stories, and laughter like we’d known each other forever. Afterwards, we walked along Lakeshore, taking in the beauty of the city lights reflecting on the water. What sealed it more? A shared love for 90s OPM music. Singing along to Rivermaya, Eraserheads, Side A… and especially Biyahe by Josh Santana. As true 90s kids who grew up watching Meteor Garden, that song hit different. It felt like a soundtrack to the night we met.We ended the night with tired smiles, full hearts, and a sense that something special had just begun. From there, everything fell into place. We became each other’s safe place, best friend, and favorite person. By 2019 and 2020, life gave us our first real taste of shared responsibility. We became dog parents. Saber, our gentle giant, and Kai, our little firecracker, completed our growing family. Together, we travelled to the beautiful beaches of Florida, the busy streets of Tokyo, and our beautiful home we call the Philippines. Each adventure strengthened our bond, made new memories, and helped build the story of us. But nothing compares to the breathtaking beauty of Lake Louise in September 2023, where we got engaged. It became the most unforgettable travel memory of all, marking the beginning of our forever. We’ve seen each other at our strongest and at our most vulnerable. But through every high and low, we always found our way back to love. We took our time, working on our dreams and careers, building the life we’d one day share. And now, Here we are, standing on the edge of something beautiful. In just a little while, we say “I do.” Not just to a day, but to a lifetime. Of laughter, adventures, quiet nights, wild dreams, and unconditional love. This is our love story. And the best part? It’s only just beginning.
