Then & Now: Philly to Conshy

An (extra)ordinary day in 2017... Christine's Version: Thursday, April 27, 2017: or just another casual day of sabbatical, so I had thought. That morning, I rode to the "NFL Draft" that was being hosted in Philadelphia. That night, the plan was to go see an upcoming band at a local venue. I hemmed and hawed (I’m sure you can imagine 😉), but was quickly convinced that I should go (thank you Ree and Grace!). After all, this was our normal routine and it had not failed us yet! Before the artist took the stage – I locked eyes with this dreamy guy from across the bar. He seemed so down to earth; there was just something about him that made me want to meet him! Turns out, we were both so wrapped up in conversations with our friends that alas, we never crossed paths. 'So be it', I thought… Leaving the venue, our friends sparked conversation, specifically around one's t-shirt of a local area high school (NC, RIP). The group decided to go to the nearby dive bar, which happened to have karaoke that night. Through the thick clouds of smoke and painful piercing of karaoke vocals, Andy and I found one another and immediately sparked of conversation. Not surprisingly, our first conversation revolved around pizza. Within minutes, we were connecting the “6 degrees” of local pizza spots and shows. Had we crossed paths before?! Our next few dates would be centered around pizza and music. Fast forward about 5+ years and not much has changed... Andy’s Version: Now: Since that time- we have moved out of Philadelphia (both born and raised) to the neighboring town of Conshohocken. From the first week we lived here, it was clear that Conshohocken would become our "home". We bought a house, fixed it up and built our lives here. The town has been so good to us, and we constantly seek to return the favor. With that, we are so happy to have our ""Conshy Themed" wedding - where we will try to support the neighbors and town who have been so welcoming to us :) We hope you will see and enjoy the time you spend here as much as we do! Let's go..
