Experience the small town charm of Woodstock! Christine and her family have been coming to Woodstock since 2010 - when they started skiing at the nearby Okemo Mountain. Andrew has also come to know and love Woodstock, which is why they decided to get married here! Walk around the downtown to explore the shops, galleries, and restaurants. Favorites of Christine and Andrew include The Vermont Flannel Co., Focus art gallery, and The Yankee Bookshop.
There are numerous hiking trails in and around Woodstock including Mount Tom and The Mount Peg trail system, both of which are accessible right from the heart of Woodstock! Christine and Andrew have enjoyed several of these hikes. Visit the town’s website or ask your hotel’s front desk for recommended routes.
Simon Pearce is a well-known, handblown glass and pottery brand based in Quechee, Vermont. Just a 7 mile drive from downtown Woodstock, visit the flagship to shop their beautiful showroom, watch artisans in their glassblowing studio, and have a delicious meal in their restaurant overlooking the waterfall.
Harpoon has both indoor and outdoor space (including a fire pit) to enjoy a fresh line up of craft beer, cider, and seltzers as well as delicious food. Andrew and Christine enjoyed a brewery tour here and are partial to their IPA and Rec League Hazy American Pale Ale.
The Woodstock Farmer's Market is a year-round mecca of fantastic food. Andrew and Christine are partial to their grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and fresh produce. At the Market, you will also find Vermont cheeses, charcuterie, fresh coffee and espresso, as well as wine, beer, and cider.
