It all began in the summer of 2011. We were meeting for the first time at our friend Alli's house. We clicked instantly the moment we met, becoming inseparable that summer, spending our days swimming, biking, and long boarding all around town. Back then, Christine wasn’t allowed to date, so we called ourselves “special friends,” a hilarious label looking back but one that couldn’t hide our obvious connection. As the years went on, the "special friend" label eventually faded, but our friendship still remained special in every way. By junior year of high school, our high school sweetheart story officially began. Senior year was filled with so many memories, though we’re still bitter about losing out on "Cutest Couple" and Homecoming king and queen...definitely rigged! After high school, we did long-distance for four years, Alexander swimming at the University of Michigan, and Christine studying nursing in Washington, D.C. Through countless late-night calls, and many flights to see each other, our relationship never faltered, and we carried each other through the challenges of college. We always stayed up late talking about our future, how much we couldn't wait to graduate school so we could adventure after college and move to California together one day. We graduated college in the midst of the pandemic and moved back to New Jersey. Then, in June 2023, we finally moved to Los Angeles. Alexander started his own business and Christine began travel nursing. Alexander proposed in the same place where we spent all of those teenage summers...where it all began! Now, as we take the next step, we’re excited to have you a part of our wedding celebration, in the place we always dreamed of. SEE YOU IN MALIBU! x Christine & Alexander
