Christine, having been moved all the way across the country from Washington state ages 0-5, then Utah, ages 5-10 and eventually landing in Jacksonville was an unlikely find for Adonis who started out life in Chicago, Illinois and is also the youngest of 4, like Christine. His parents immigrated here from Mexico in the 1980s. Adonis attended Chicago Bulls Prep School and moved to Jacksonville, Florida following his older brother Angel. Working tirelessly to establish himself in his early twenties in the service industry and bar scene in Jax beaches… where their story started. During the time prior to them meeting Christine was focused on her career, finishing hair school only 9 months after graduating from high school. They met about 4 years into her craft, she would drive to see Adonis everyday, their first year filled with many adventures spent traveling from Colorado, to Mexico, to Atlanta, to Chicago, to Michigan, and several music festivals, they were everywhere man! They met by accident, not looking for anything serious and it became that way so quickly. Within 3 months they were inseparable, by 6 months they were living together! By 9 months they experienced some of their biggest struggles… having to move in with Christine’s parents… just kidding, that was COVIDs fault! They both lost their livelihoods and are forever grateful for the hospitality that Christine’s parents provided during those times. After 3 years of rebuilding their careers, they moved into what they consider their true “first place”. Having survived all of that tumultuous stuff, it’s about time they get hitched! Now they’ve got two wonderful hairy babies, Dopey and Lumi, their cats. They’ve got their careers fine tuned and are completely rocking it, they’ve got nothing left to do but take the next step.
