We hope everyone is staying safe out there, COVID has really caused some uncertainty, but we are still going to have our wedding, and thankfully our setting is all outdoors! We hope you can join, but also understand completely if you cannot make it <3
Christine had just moved to Dallas for medical school at UT Southwestern. Aaron had moved to Dallas to be close to family and after working 9 years for the same company, was ready for a change. The both of them met for lunch over Pho and then he immediately FaceTimed her that night to continue the conversation. It was full steam after that when Christine and Aaron travelled to Belize and Guatemala together that Christmas. The first time they said I love you to each other was in Antigua, Guatemala, after spelunking through caves, boating around Caye Caulker, spending Christmas in Tikaal, and New Years at Lake Atitlan. That was the start of the many adventures and the sign to them both that if they could travel together, they passed each others' test.
Aaron had moved to Austin to start his new job at Juul and Christine had just matched into her number one program in Austin for Emergency Medicine to join Aaron. This was the start of a new chapter of life. On Christine's first vacation of her intern year, we went to visit good friends Gail and Dave in their home town of Chester, Nova Scotia. When they had run out water at their family's cabin, Aaron was unsure if this was the right time to propose with a professional photographer when both had not showered for a couple of days. But the time was right, and we made our way to Pete Luckett's Vineyard in Nova Scotia and the scene was right, where Christine was extremely surprised and Aaron was so nervous he dropped the ring. It was a great day to celebrate with good friends and a wonderful trip to Chester. See you in Fredricksburg for the start of another chapter!
