Are children welcome?
Answer
Due to limited seating, only children older than 15 may attend.

What should I wear?
Answer
Since the wedding is at a church, we ask that you dress in office wear or semi-formal attire. Dress boots are welcome.

What is the weather typically like?
Answer
Early May is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Central Texas with daytime highs in the low 80’s and overnight lows in the mid 60’s.

When should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The Ceremony begins at 2:00pm. Plan to arrive and be seated by 1:30pm.

I am not a Catholic, what should I expect at the ceremony?
Answer
The Rite of Marriage is celebrated with scripture readings, a homily, nuptial blessings, and the exchange of rings. The ceremony typically lasts 35-40 minutes. We ask that you maintain a reverent atmosphere in the church by turning off cell phones and keeping conversation to a minimum.

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The Pecan Springs Ranch features an indoor area for dining and dancing. There is also a covered patio/outdoor area for cocktails and conversation.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
To start the reception, there will be appetizers and a cocktail hour with open bar consisting of wine, beer, and several mixed drinks. Plated dinner will follow with wine available.

Will the dinner menu include vegetarian and gluten-free options?

Yes. Please let us know when you RSVP if you will need a vegetarian or gluten-free option.

You can RSVP on this website! Please search for your name in our RSVP tab and reply electronically. You will also be able to choose which meal option you would like as well as let us know of any dietary restrictions.

Will there be parking available for the ceremony and reception?

Yes, there is ample parking at both Emmaus Catholic Church and the Pecan Springs Ranch.
