We met at a mutual friend's party. We actually didn't talk until we ran into each other at another party where my friend threw a twinky and Dawson proceeded to come over and blame me for the twinky throwing. After resolving the argument about who threw the twinky we were inseparable.

Our families traveled to Gulf Shores, Alabama for what I thought was a New Years celebration trip. When the trip was planned we were told that there would be family pictures taking place. The day was perfect. We spent the day on the beach and then went back to clean up for family pictures. Dawson and I were doing some couple shots when the photographer told me to turn around and that she would get a picture of Dawson running up behind me and giving me a hug (I still had no idea). Suddenly I felt a tug on my dress and turned around to see Dawson on his knee. He was so nervous that he said "You make the happiest WOMAN in the world, will you be my wife?". I immediately started crying and of course I said "YES!". I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life making Dawson the happiest woman in the world (haha). We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Sedalia, MO!
