Angelo was persistent to pick Christin up for a date for weeks until finally, she said yes. He drove from Camp Pendleton to Corona, during the time Christin lived with her grandparents. Christin had been so nervous and sat down looking out her bedroom window on FaceTime with her friend. Christin was so nervous she sweat through the brand new shirt she bought specifically for their date and had to make a whole outfit change. Christin sees a car pull up her street and said to her friend, "I think he's here!!" a moment of awkward silence, "and he drives a Mini Cooper?" Christin began laughing hysterically. She ran for the front door and her grandparents asked the big question, "Where are you going?!" She responded, "On a date". The grandparents began to ask 20 questions, they then demanded he come to the front door to introduce himself to the family. Christin's heart sank to her stomach so fast and said, "You don't meet family on first dates and he's not sure if he's at the right address it's okay I am just gonna walk out!" grandma responded, "You're getting in the car of a stranger I don't know what he looks like, what kind of car he drives, or what his name is. If you end up dead in a ditch I am going to be the stupid old grandma that let her granddaughter die!" Christin laughed and told her family her "final goodbyes" and left as fast as she could before they followed her out. The date was magical. Christin felt like she had somehow known him her whole life and there was a mutual instant connection between them. If anyone knows Christin they know she can NOT handle spice. She ordered spicy wings on accident and forced herself to eat them without crying or showing pain because she was to embarrassed, he finally caught on she stopped eating her wings and ate them for her. They saw a movie after dinner and he drove her home. We bonded so much just after one first date that we saw each other again the next day and spent every weekend together from that point on.
