We met freshman year of high school when we were 14! We had a few classes together and throughout the year we became really good friends and talked every day. Back then he had a crush on me but I didn't think I liked him as more than a friend until we went on a date to the Threshers baseball game and he kissed me under the fireworks and changed my mind for good!!

We had this date night planned for a few weeks to celebrate Dylan's new job. He had been telling me all day that I should paint my nails and I was like "that's weird but whatever, my nails are fine how they are!" but I should have known that meant something was coming! We went to a nice dinner and went to the beach after to see the sunset, which is totally normal for us and I didn't think anything of it. He told me he wanted to take my picture with the sunset and I was thinking "wow, a new picture for my instagram and I didn't even have to ask for it!". So I'm facing the sunset waiting for him to take this picture, and next thing I know I turn around and he is on one knee. I was so shocked that I think the world stopped spinning for a minute. Some tears were shed and I was so wrapped up in the moment I totally forgot to let him put the ring on me LOL. Dylan knows how important family is to me and after we had a moment to ourselves, he told me both our families were there on the beach and I hadn't noticed! I looked over and saw my brother sprinting toward us and the rest followed. We spent the rest of the night celebrating with them and soaking up every moment.
