Richard met Wen at an airsoft field called Code Red by accident in 2015. After getting shot by Wen many times at various other airsoft fields, Richard became friends with him and eventually the others as well. In one memorable instance they almost shamefully lost their Asian cards when most of the groomsmen, including Wen and Richard, forgot how to cook rice at Richard's apartment when they came to visit him in 2022.

Rachelle met Christina through fate while searching for a UCLA apartment. A mutual friend connected them and suggested they all live together, but when that friend ended up commuting instead, Rachelle and Christina became roommates and instant friends. She knew it was meant to be when she walked into their shared room and saw Christina had a DirecTV bag since both of their dads worked there. From random UCLA karaoke nights to impromptu pharmacy consults and trips to Walt Disney World and South Korea, they have been best friends for over 15 years. Christina is still in the lead for most Pikachus added to Rachelle's collection. Rachelle is so excited to celebrate this next adventure with her.

Kevin could not recall exactly when and where he first met Wen. However, he knew from Wen's personality coupled by his marksmanship prowess that an astoundingly intriguing future lay ahead. Although Kevin was one of the last of the groomsmen (second to Joey) to formally meet Wen, they saw mostly eye-to-eye in most aspects resulting in a long-lasting friendship easier than pressing the "Easy" button. The places they’ve been and the stuff they’ve done as a group did not disappoint… oh, and the shenanigans… definitely cannot forget about those… with much more to come.

Czarinna met the quiet and shy bride in the bright pink Hummer limo on the way to their senior prom. However, it wasn’t until Rachelle invited Czarinna and Christina to a girls karaoke night and they sang Disney and 90’s songs together for hours on end that their friendship and duet partnership was solidified and the rest is history! One of Czarinna’s favorite memories of the couple is when the bride first shared she was dating the groom (cue Czarinna’s excited reaction) followed by the discovery that the groom has a secret talent…being a wicked karaoke singer when he’s with his bride! From karaoke nights to art lessons, learning there’s no such thing as too much cheese in Olive Garden soup, boba runs and puzzles, escaping escape rooms, tea time and Disneyland dates, Czarinna is excited to be at Christina’s side as she embarks on this new journey of love, commitment and becoming a wife!

Gavin encountered Wen at one of many semi-public but sanctioned simulation wargame events during their early years at Cal Poly and UCR respectively. Initially introduced through another mutual friend who was attending the same school as Wen, the two became wargame comrades in arms and continue to be so to this very day. As grown men playing war, they've stormed the hills of Coppermine, paid their dues to fight simulated child soldiers at Warped Ops, and tackled embittered teenagers up close with machine pistols at Tac City weeknights, Code Red, and SC Village. It has been an enduring friendship of 19 years and an incredible journey of (no blood) sweat, tears, and glory for the win. Wen still has the highest survivability rate when he is equipped with his multiple trusty 6mm BB slinging handcannons and when Gavin's got his back. A new journey awaits as their everlasting friendship continues to strengthen.

Sunny and Christina’s story began with a simple search for a shared apartment, but they ended up finding a lifelong home in their friendship. Bonded by their love for anime and all things cute, these two nerds quickly realized they were a perfect match. Their friendship is much like the intricate puzzles they love to assemble together. Just as every piece has its perfect place, Sunny is thrilled to remain connected as new and exciting chapters are added to the beautiful picture of Christina’s life.

Joey met Wen at the shooting range, and still mostly meets with him at the range or shooting events. He says Wen's a true gun-nut from top to bottom and always leads the group with goals and plans to achieve them despite grieving being the 'dad figure' of the group. They share similar thoughts on many things such as firearms to serving desserts on the same plate as the main food at buffets. Joey strongly advises Wen against doing the latter when the wife is with him... utensils might fly faster than 9mm with similar dime sized groupings.
