Steph and I first met back in high school — in the most glamorous way possible. I was being held down by friends (Alyssa, of course) while they tried to put makeup on me against my will. In the middle of this chaos, Steph happened to walk into the room. She looked down at me, mid–makeover, and apparently decided right then and there that I was her target. That was in 2013. Flash forward to 2015 — fate (and probably a little bit of social media) brought us back into each other’s lives. We finally hung out again, and this time… we were hooked. In March 2015, we started talking, flirting, and spending every possible moment together. It only took one month for us to make it official — April 24th, 2015 — the day we asked each other to be girlfriends. Ever since then, we’ve been inseparable. The thing about meeting young is that you don’t just fall in love — you grow up together. We’ve seen each other through every awkward phase, every big change, every version of ourselves that came after that first one. Over the years, we’ve built this relationship piece by piece, and that’s what makes it so strong. It’s not just built on attraction or shared memories — it’s built on growth, patience, and a lot of laughter. And now, all these years later, we’re here — ready to keep growing, keep laughing, and keep choosing each other for the rest of our lives.
