What should I wear?

Answer

Wedding Reception at Origins Cafe: We are calling it “Garden Party Attire” and are imaging sundresses and khakis, polished but comfortable, tucked in but not necessarily buttoned all the way up. Ties and heels but only if that is what you are most comfortable in. Afterparty at Brewery Ommegang: Casual and comfy attire is recommended! The band and DJ will be outside but under a pavilion if weather is expected. Dress for drinks and dancing with friends. A peek at the weather forecast will tell you if a sweater or sweatshirt is recommended.

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive anytime after 10:15 for coffee, tea and sweet treats. Ceremony will begin at 11 am, followed by a buffet brunch.

How do I get to the afterparty?

Answer

The Cooperstown trolly will be available at the hotel to bring guests to Ommegang and back. It will be making rounds throughout the evening.

Is there parking at origins and Ommegang?

Answer

Parking is available at Origins, but limited. We strongly suggest carpooling if possible. There will be plenty of parking at Ommegang but we encourage to hop on the trolly so you can enjoy a beverage or two.

What should I do in between the reception and after party?

Answer

The time is yours! Relax and recharge. Enjoy Cooperstown village and the lake view. Take a nap. Have a beverage at one of the many wonderful restaurants/bars. Go to Ommegang early.

How long do I stay for the Welcome reception on Friday?

Answer

Please come anytime between 4-8. You may stay for as little or as long as you wish! Dinner Buffett and drinks will be provided. The event is at Maureen’s house so we will be parking people park on the lawn. Please try to carpool if at all possible.
