We both worked at the mall when we were younger. We met and flirted some but that is as far as we got. We did not see each other for a while for reasons, but we never stopped thinking about each other. A couple years later, a chance re-encounter happened at a gas station parking lot. She was stuffing pork rinds down because, ya know, keto and all that. He was wearing his ripped up stupid jeans and a weird necklace/bracelet combo, because, ya know, MTV. We both said “hey I think I know you”, which is historically the worst pick up line ever. But we both said it, and wow did it work on both of us! All of these years later, through times of being with each other, to not being with each other, we were always there for each other. Now we are back to being in each other’s arms where we will always remain. God always knew that we were meant to be.
