Question

What should I wear?

Answer

All of the Saturday events will be informal. Our chapel is kitschy and designed for elopements and intimate weddings. Our wedding dinner will be at an urban/industrial restaurant downtown and Meow Wolf is, well... Meow Wolf. Feel free to wear one outfit for the whole day, or take advantage of the break in the action for a wardrobe change before dinner. Meow Wolf is totally immersive...consider wearing something you are comfortable crawling around, sliding around and exploring around in. During the second part of our day on Saturday, we will be moving from dinner outdoors to an indoor afterparty so please wear something you will be comfortable wearing in the Las Vegas heat and bring a layer for when we move inside. Bridezilla Alert: While this is a non-traditional wedding, we still ask guests to please leave their whites and creams at home for all wedding events.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Wherever you want! The great thing about Vegas is that you can spend $30 on a room or $3,000. If you want to take advantage of the shuttles we are providing, we suggest staying in walking-distance of the Wynn. Looks like most folks are staying at the Wynn ($$$) or the Flamingo ($$).

Question

How will I be expected to get to each event?

Answer

We will be walking from the Wynn to Kamu Karaoke at the Venetian on Friday night. All attendees are welcome to join us. On Saturday, we will provide a bus from the Wynn, to the ceremony and back, before dinner. A second bus will be taking guests from the Wynn to dinner and then to the afterparty at Meow Wolf. Guests will be responsible for their own transportation at the end of the evening. See "travel" section for more details. Please note that the bus will pick up and drop guests off at the south gate of the Wynn property off of Sands Avenue. Question

How Many People will be at this wedding?

Answer

It's going to be intimate. Sure Thing Chapel can only accommodate 43 guests. The guest list is dearest friends with a few of our closest family members. We are so excited to bring you lovely humans together!

Question

Can we take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you leave your phones/cameras in your pockets during the ceremony. There will be a photographer capturing all the fun and love. The rest of the weekend, we hope that you take all the pictures/videos you want and share them with our wedding attendees via our guestpix QR code that we will provide our guests. While neither of us are big Instragrammers, we encourage guests to post whatever photos/videos from the weekend. Our friend Lamberti came up with the hashtag #makenoyesfortheskeltons and we approve : )

Question

Is Loudean coming?

Answer

Sorry to break it to you but no. We have to leave Loody and Lottie behind but they will be in the very good hands of our pet-sitter Lauren in our absence. Hopefully this won't be a deal-breaker for you, but we won't blame you if it is.

For all the days along the way
