We had worked in the same scene for a long time. Crossed paths several times, but never really hung out in the same crowd. He would message me and ask for advice on things here and there and we always hugged when we saw each other, but that’s really it. In 2017, that all changed. We were both hurting and going through a rough time. We were both in a situation where we could date and we had a mutual friend that liked selfies lol. Everyone knows how much I love taking pics and making memories, so I went to take a selfie with our friend Ashley and he was standing there. My drunk selfie loving self says hey you wanna take one too? He says yes and from there we just got closer and closer. We have both stood through the storms with each other. We respect each other and we are a great team!! I’ve fallen in love with this man over and over and I’m so glad we came together in that time and fought through the struggles to make it to this point.
