Let's do this!

We met one summer 5 years ago through mutual friends at a camping trip on the Tucannon River. We didn't think much of it at the time being that we had both just gotten out of relationships but something definitely sparked between us. I was wooed by Josiah's knowledge about plants and survival tips on the steepest hike ever taken and that was it, I was smitten!

We bought a house! This past summer we went through the home buying process, so the thought of getting engaged was not on my mind at all. After signing papers that morning we went to our new home, I was leading the way going from room to room and ending up in the kitchen, I spotted a small box on the kitchen counter, curiosity got the best of me so I opened it to find a pretty blue ring inside... I honestly didn't think it was for me so I closed it and put it back on the counter. When I turned around, Josiah was on one knee and I was so surprised! I really could not believe it. I asked him if he was joking and then hugged him and started crying- I was so happy! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Walla Walla!
